Job Keeper 2.0 - Extension
The Government has announced the extension of the Job Keeper payment for a further three months until 28 March 2021.
This assistance is specifically targeting those businesses and not-for-profits who continue to be significantly impacted by Covid – 19.
To be eligible for the period 4 January 2021 to 28 March 2021, the business is required to re-assess actual turnover in the December 2020 quarter. Your business will need to demonstrate it has met the 30% decline in turnover test when compared to the December 2019 quarter.
If eligible, the Job Keeper payment rates will be as follows:
$1,000 per fortnight - Eligible employees and/or Business Participants working 20 hours per week or more on average in the four weeks of pay periods before either 1 March 2020 or 1 July 2020.
$650 per fortnight – Eligible employees and/or Business Participants who do not meet the above.
